A few days ago, Grupo Itera constituted its Advisory Council to strengthen its growth and transformation strategy with the integration of national and international experts in technology and business.

Itera’s vision is to continue growing as one of the leading providers of high value-added cloud services. The new Council composed of independent experts will contribute to the achievement of this vision.

The variety of professional profiles of the external directors of this Advisory Board, as well as their training respectively in engineering, physics, economics and administration; will help to offer a global and local vision of the different markets in which Itera operates, strengthening its vision of growth and transformation.

Francisco Ibáñez

Chair – external advisor

He is a consultant with 33 years of experience in business valuation, strategic consulting and financial structuring of investment projects at PwC. He led the consulting practice on strategy, technology, operational transformation and mergers and acquisitions, mainly in the financial, consumer, healthcare and industrial sectors. Currently, he accompanies companies in the process of designing and managing high-impact advisory boards, being an independent director and chair of companies from different sectors.

Francisco is an economist and has an MBA, both from ITAM, and graduated from IPADE’s AD-2 program.

Desmond Mullarkey

External Counsel

Outstanding leader in the digital industry with more than 25 years of experience. He is currently Chief Growth Officer of Stripe in Latin America. Previously, he was president and CEO of SAP Mexico, also holding senior management positions at Oracle and Hyperion Solutions.

Desmond holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork and postgraduate studies in Spanish at Dublin City University.
