Itera Spain, one more year attending at the IBM Business Connect 2016.
Itera Spain participated last November 11 in one of the biggest technological events of the year: The IBM Business Connect 2016. It was held at Palacio de Congresos in Madrid.
The conference was attended by Marta Martínez, president of IBM Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel; Some of the company’s top executives, such as Jay Bellissimo, general manager of IBM’s cognitive solutions; And Matthew Candy, vice president and head of European IBM iX.
Over 2,000 professionals gathered at this event “Welcome to the Cognitive Era,” in which IBM introduced its most powerful new technological environment to meet the cognitive age challenges. Some of the most outstanding topics of interest among the attendees were digital development, Internet of Things, cloud capabilities, advanced analytics, or mobility among others.
Itera, as a technology solutions provider holding experience in digital transformation services, attended to the IBM Business Connect showing its requirements management and software development tools IBM Rational Doors, Rational Quality Manager and Rational Team Concert.
“With the nowadays technologies, we can only process 0.5% of all the information that is generated in the world. In order to take value from the remaining data, we need cutting-edge solutions with predictive ability.” Marta Martínez, president of IBM in Spain, used this idea to end up a day focused on cognitive intelligence as the axis of the technological giant’s strategy.
